Passion for capturing the energy of the sea, yacht racing and regattas, and the influx of photographers to the island of Antigua and Barbuda during regatta season, led Jody Sallons-Day to the formation of leadingimage.org.

With numerous professional and skilful resident photographers on island, Jody created a base from which visitors, publishers and yachties can find their ideal photographer and of course ideal images to suit your purpose.

Engaging excellent photographers and videographers, locally based, eliminates the expense and trouble of flying in your own. Resident photographers’ skill span everything from high-performance sports, luxury marketing images for your brochures and magazines, to weddings, the warmth of the local culture, and/or your choice of commercial marketing imagery.

Each photographer who leadingimage introduce has their own unique perspective. Currently our service is completely free to use, we’re just here to connect you with top local talent and show the world there’s no need to fly someone in!

Not all our photos are displayed on the site, so feel free to browse the galleries — and if your boat took part in a regatta, it’s always worth giving us a quick call or email to check if we’ve got images on file. There might be a hidden gem.
